Albany Center Gallery (ACG) presents threads: weaving an intricate banner, an exhibition in celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month. Co-curated by Andrew Kwok, Jennie Tang, and Ed Ticson, this exhibition will be held at ACG from May 1 to June 13, 2026. An Artists’ Reception will be hosted on Friday, May 1 from 5 – 8 p.m. A live performance curated by Asian Arts New York will be held during the Artists’ Reception on Friday, May 1 and additional programming will take place throughout the exhibit, stay tuned! threads: weaving an intricate banner is free and open to the public; Tuesday – Saturday, Noon – 5 p.m.

AANHPI Heritage Month is a nationwide celebration that centers the rich history, notable contributions, and diverse experiences of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders in the United States. In addition to this exhibition and associated programming, there are countless other groups, organizations, and businesses in the area that have and will continue to highlight and celebrate the creative work of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders for years. We acknowledge their tireless work and energy.
