The Movement of Birds
Jin Dynasty (265–420 AD) renowned Chinese calligrapher Wang Xizhi 王羲之 used to say he learned his calligraphy style from observing the swan swimming in the pond. The mystery, elegance, and freedom of the bird’s movement are fascinating! Iridescent acrylic purple colors on gessoed canvas.

Birds’ Migration. 26 x 48 in.
